Cellular Evolution
Cells are evolving in an environment with food (light blue) and other cells. They have a genetic which mutate and evolve through generation. Some are more likely to share food with his specie, other to attack other civilisation, some prefere the conservation startegy while other try to expand as quick as possible. When a new cell comes with big mutations (compare to its parents), it will be considered as a new species. A cell can reproduce itself if it have enough energy. Energy is gained by receiving from other, eating another cell (but it cost energy to attack !), or just moving on food. While a cell die because of age, its organic matter is transform in food on the ground.
The genetic of a cell is made of probabilities of being more likely to do one action than another. Which generate differents behaviour depending on your species.
